2019 - 2021 / Board member Organized decision-making on a broad range of topics affecting the state of Oregon alongside 23 other board members. Organized two art shows / fundraisers with staff.
UndocuPDX
September 2017 - Present / Co-founder Co-lead an activist collective aimed at highlighting the undocumented narrative through art. Our goal is to provide education and information to our communities, and help crowdfund for undocumented individuals in need of support. Work closely with local non-profit Pueblo Unido.

August 2023 - Present / Co-founder and Design Director for Provecho Magazine, an annual print publication for and by people of color about the nexus of food and identity

January 4, 2016 - Present / Senior Designer (previously: Designer, Junior Designer, intern) Work alongside the Creative Director to make up the design team nestled within the organization’s Communications team. Together we project manage design support for teams and partners. Uphold branding standards based on our identity as well as our Strategic Plan. Produce printed and digital materials with special focus on illustration.

2012 - present / Graphic Designer & Illustrator Large focus on working with musicians, like creating show posters for local Portland bands (Mexicadelia, Radiation City, The Weather Machine), album packaging design (Savila, Jake William Capistran, Jamie Nasario), book cover design (Mistakes Were Made by Taylor Rush), and tee shirt designs, menus, and merchandise (Güero No. 1 Tortas, Culinary Breeding Network).

Summer 2013 - 2016 Aside from my roles as a medical interpreter and Oregon state certified OHP Application Assister, I produced our monthly newsletter, which involved contentgathering, design layout, and distribution. Additionally, I redesigned all of our forms to be more visually appealing and accessible both in English and Spanish.
